At the moment of purchase, most of us are unaware of the processes and impacts involved in the creation of a product.
We aren't just purchasing a piece of gear or accessory, but a whole chain of values and relationships.
We partnered with an organization called Upcycling the Oceans Thailand to design and manufacture custom hammocks made from upcycled plastic bottles recovered from beaches in Thailand. The colorful scale lines are woven by an indigenous weaving community in Northern Thailand, that supports economic development in the rural north.
Our hammock won a design competition at the Sustainable Brands Conference in Bangkok, Thailand.

Our custom "NoNo" Sling Bag made from upcycled plastic bottles also won a design award at the 2018 Sustainable Brands Conference in Bangkok, Thailand.
